Alanya HEP IS GROWING
New programmes have been opened at Alanya HEP University. With the permission from YÖK (Higher Education Board in Turkey) Alanya HEP University has begun to accept international students to the Department of Communication Design and Management (in English) and will soon start to accept Turkish students to the Department of Architecture (in Turkish) for the 2018-2019 academic year.
The Rector of Alanya HEP University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Durdu Öner stated that the number of students will increase even more rapidly in the coming years and he thanked the Chairman of the Board of Trustees Adem Murat Yücel, the District Governor Dr. Mustafa Harputlu, the President of Alanya Hamdullah Emin Paşa Foundation and especially the Foreign Affairs Minister Mevlüt Cavusoğlu, who has never given up on his support to Alanya HEP University, all academic staff and Alanya people who always support the University.
“The Department of Architecture, which provides Architecture education in English language, will also start to provide education in Turkish language this year” said the Rector of Alanya HEP University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Durdu Öner. He also added that “the Department of Communication Design and Management, which has already started to accept international students for the 2018-2019 academic year, will provide education in 100 % English and it will bring new value to Alanya with its academic vision and projects.”

Assist. Prof. Dr. Murat Ertan Doğan, the Head of the Department of Communication Design and Management and Secretary General, expressed that “Communication Design and Management Department of our University is very strong. There is highly experienced and professional academic staff in our department, who will make important contributions to representation of Alanya. Our first goal is to contribute to our city by developing our national and international projects with our students and academic staff. In this sense, we have also developed important partnerships with local media. While developing our university in an academic sense, we aim to develop common projects with all stakeholders for the promotion and branding of our beautiful city as well. We also have projects to establish new departments in the field of communication. We invite all students who want to receive a high quality education in the field of communication to Alanya.”
The number of departments at Alanya HEP University, which already provides education in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Tourism Management and Architecture (English), has increased to five with the recently opened departments of Architecture (Turkish) and Communication Design and Management.
