"Future Professions" Meeting for Young People from Alanya University
Alanya University came together with students from Alanya Final Akademi Anatolian High School as part of the YÖK Science Cafe events. In the event titled ”Professions of the Future", changing professions, creativity, cultural industries and human-oriented approaches in the age of artificial intelligence were discussed.
At the event, Alanya University academics Dr. Teach Member Kerim Karagöz and Dr. Teach Member Pelin Uymaz met with the students and delivered her presentations. In the program, the working areas of the future were evaluated under the headings of “The Future of Creativity and Cultural Industries in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” and “Smart Technologies, Changing Professions and Human-Oriented Care”.
At the event where the effects of artificial intelligence and intelligent technologies on professions were discussed, it was emphasized that technological transformation not only reveals new professional fields, but also changes the working styles of existing professions and the necessary competencies. While the topics that young people are interested in for the professions of the future were shared with academics, mutual exchange of ideas was carried out over the questions and opinions of students.
Alanya University will continue to maintain its activities that bring students together with scientific knowledge and support young people's awareness of the future within the scope of science communication studies.
